Casa Grande polychrome figural ceramic jar. A kneeling woman of exceptional design, boldly painted in red and black geometric patterns, hands resting on her lower stomach and head tilted back. A fine example of classic Casa Grande sculpture. The jar has not been restored but the figure's right leg has been broken and glued at the torso, with a small loss of material at the joint. The figure's left leg has been broken midway down the leg and glued at the joint and where the foot joins the body.
